| Welcome to the Central Wyoming Astronomical Society or CWAS for short. A small group of people who are interested in amateur astronomy. |
| On the events calendar, you can find out when the Central Wyoming Astronomical Society will meet again for the monthly meeting. Or you can find out when we will have our next public sky observation and where we will be holding that event. |
| On the information page you can learn about various topics such as the sun or a distant galaxy, or even our very own moon. We even take requests. If you are curious of a object and want to know more about it, contact the website administrator on the contact page and tell him what you want to know and he will do his best to get that information onto the information page. |
| On the photo page you can see some of the telescopes the club uses as well as special events. New ones are posted occasionally so check back often. |

| And last but not least, there are the links to various astronomy related topics such as the Hubble site or NASA. Are you wanting to buy a telescope but don't know where you can get one? You can find reputable dealers for telescopes and other optical equipment on the links page. You can also learn how you can do your part in keeping the skies dark at night by avoiding light pollution. The Dark Skies Association can tell you all about it. Want to look through a observatory telescope with your own eyes. You can and more at SLOOH. |
